How do I fit a rear rack to my Vespa Sprint / Primavera?
Fitting a rear carrier or folding carrier doesn't take long and is fairly simple. To make it even clearer, we at Vespucci have put together a simple step-by-step guide for you:
First, get the right tools: for the installation you need a 5Allen key and a Torx screwdriver.
Unclip the cover at the bottom of the bracket, where it says 'Vespa'. You can simply do this by hand.
Undo the two bolts that are now visible with the 5 Allen key, turning them anticlockwise
Now open your buddy seat
You should now see 5 bolts. Undo these with the Torx screwdriver.
Once the 5 bolts are undone, you can remove the bracket.
Now take your new rear rack, which fits in exactly the same place as the standard bracket.
Now fit your new rear rack using the bolts you just removed.
And voilà: your rear rack is fitted!
