Helmets

The importance of the right fit

A well-fitting helmet is essential for both safety and comfort. You determine the size of your motorcycle helmet by measuring the circumference of your head. This fit is the key to optimal protection while riding. So always choose the right size and fit for your motorcycle helmet. A motorcycle helmet that is too tight can be uncomfortable, while a helmet that is too loose loses its protective function. Fortunately, in our webshop you can easily select the size that matches your head circumference. You can also use our handy size chart to find the perfect shape and look for your helmet.

Price: how do you find a helmet within your budget?

At Vespucci we understand that you are looking for a helmet that fits your budget, without compromising on safety and quality. Our helmets are available in different price ranges, so there is always a helmet that fits your budget. A helmet such as the Evo Air, for example, offers excellent value for money, ideal if you are looking for an affordable but safe option. With us you never pay too much and you can count on an excellent lifespan. We also regularly have offers and discounts, so you can save even more.

Type of motorcycle helmet: the perfect choice for every rider, such as Schuberth

Which type of motorcycle helmet suits your riding style best? There are different kinds, such as the modular helmet, the full-face helmet and the popular open-face helmet. Each type of motorcycle helmet has its own unique features and benefits. A modular helmet, such as the Scorpion Evo Carbon Air, is ideal for riders who want a flexible helmet. You can flip the chin piece up whenever you like, which is handy for city rides or when you want to talk along the way. The full-face helmet, such as the Shoei or Arai, offers maximum protection because it covers your whole face. For riders who prefer to wear an open helmet, an open-face helmet such as the Arai SZ-R is a good option. The Scorpion helmets are also known for their strong qualities and reliable safety.

The difference between full-face and modular helmets

The biggest difference between a full-face helmet and a modular helmet lies in the construction. A full-face helmet, such as the Scorpion Exo-1400, is made as one piece and therefore offers better protection at high speeds. This makes it an excellent choice for riders who often ride in a sporty style. The flip-up helmet, such as the Schuberth C4 Basic, or a modular helmet such as Roof, offers more flexibility and is more practical for everyday use. Both types are available in various sizes. It is also important to choose the right material, such as polycarbonate or carbon, depending on your needs and preferences.

We also keep a large stock, so you never have to wait long for your order.

Type of motorcycle helmet: a suitable helmet for every category

Vespucci offers motorcycle helmets in every category, from recreational use to the most advanced sport helmets. Are you looking for a sporty helmet designed for speed? Then helmets such as the AGV Pista GP RR are perfect for you. These helmets offer a streamlined design and the ultimate protection at high speeds. Do you ride in the city a lot or make short trips? Then a modular helmet is a good choice because of its versatility. Every type of motorcycle helmet we offer is designed to meet the highest safety standards, so you can hit the road with peace of mind.

Which motorcycle helmet suits you?

When choosing a motorcycle helmet, you need to take various factors into account, such as your riding style, your preference for comfort and the lifespan of the helmet. If you often go on long tours, a lightweight helmet, such as the Spartan RS Carbon, is ideal because of the reduced strain on your neck. Are you looking for a helmet that you can adapt to all seasons? Then the RO200 Carbon with its interchangeable visor is an excellent choice. These helmets are also known for their high durability, ideal for riders who cover a lot of miles in all seasons.

The lifespan of a motorcycle helmet

How long does a motorcycle helmet last? The lifespan of a helmet depends on various factors, such as the material and how well you look after your motorcycle helmet. Carbon helmets, such as the Stellar Titanium, are known for their long lifespan and excellent protection. However, it is important to replace the helmet after about five years, even if there is no visible damage. Because of wear to the inner lining and the padding, the motorcycle helmet can become less effective in the event of an accident. Also remember to replace the visor regularly for a clear view.

Why the right motorcycle helmet is so important

A good motorcycle helmet not only protects your head in an accident, but also against the elements. Wind, rain and even insects can make riding uncomfortable without the right helmet. With a helmet like the Skwal i3 you don't have to worry about this, thanks to its streamlined design and integrated visor. Motorcycle clothing also plays an important role in your overall protection, although Vespucci focuses exclusively on high-quality helmets to safeguard your safety. Also consider wearing motocross goggles for extra protection on off-road rides.

Time for a new Scorpion open-face helmet?

When your motorcycle helmet has reached the end of its life, it is important to buy a new one in good time. A worn helmet offers less protection and in an emergency may no longer meet the safety standards. Make sure you check your helmet regularly for wear and consider buying a new helmet in good time that meets the latest safety requirements. Safety comes above all else, so don't wait too long to replace your helmet.
