The Piaggio 1+ is fitted with a 2.3 kWh battery, compared with the standard 1.4 kWh battery. Its top speed is 45 km/h, but its range can reach 68 km in WMTC mode and an impressive 100 km in ECO mode. It is a unique combination of power and comfort that adapts perfectly to a busy, dynamic lifestyle, so you can explore every street and every corner of the city together.
On the handlebars you will find a large 5.5-inch digital LCD colour display with a twilight sensor that optimises the background and lettering colours for the prevailing light conditions, so that, like the clear, stylish graphics on the screen, it is always easy to read at a glance.
The combination of lightweight construction, an advanced lithium-ion battery and the KERS function (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), which charges while you slow down, means the Piaggio 1 has an excellent range.
The Piaggio 1 is a user-friendly scooter in every respect, from the moment you switch it on. Thanks to its keyless system, all you need is a handy remote control, after which you simply press the MAP button on the right of the handlebars and select ECO or SPORT mode. ECO mode is based on saving energy and offers a longer range, a top speed of 30 km/h and more gradual acceleration. With SPORT mode you make full use of the motor's potential and enjoy a more exciting ride.
Charging the Piaggio 1 is a piece of cake. You detach the battery in a few seconds so you can plug it into a socket at home, at the office or wherever you happen to be. The battery of the 1 version weighs just 10 kg and has a capacity of 1.4 kWh, while the batteries of the 1+ and 1 Active have a capacity of 2.3 kWh and weigh 15 kg. The batteries are maintenance-free, need no special care and are supplied with a charger.
The 1 is powered by an electric hub motor developed by Piaggio, built into the rear wheel hub, which has made a sleek and compact frame possible. The 1 and 1+ versions have an electric motor with a continuous output of 1.2 kW, while the 1 Active model delivers 2 kW. The combination of lightweight construction, an advanced lithium-ion battery and smart charging while slowing down gives all three versions an excellent range, with the 1+ managing up to 100 km on a single charge.
